As long as the computer that the application has been installed on is left on and is connected to the Internet, it will be just as if you were sitting at that computer even if you’re thousands of miles away.
Download and install a program like iSafe Key Logger. You can find it at iSafe all-in-one Keylogger.com as a free trial. The limit is that you can only record 40 minutes of data. This is one of the more popular key loggers. It has a feature that allows you to use it remotely by automatically sending you e-mails of the logs.
Install the keylogger remotely. You have 2 options. You can log into isafesoft.com and download the program directly to the desktop just as if you were sitting there. Otherwise, you can e-mail the program to yourself and log into the e-mail on the computer you want it installed on and download it from there.
Configure the keylogger after you’ve installed it. To do this, launch the program from the start menu. Once the program starts, click on Setting > General. If you want the key logger to start up automatically when the computer starts, click on “Start at the System Loading” check box. You will also have the option of setting a password. To do this, click “Enable Password” and “Set Password.” You will need to use this password whenever you want to access the program logs or to change settings, but not for it to record key strokes. If you want the program to send you reports automatically via e-mail, click “Report Sending” and “Send Reports via Email” and then type in an e-mail address.
